Russian President Vladimir Putin discussed the situation in Ukraine with Azerbaijani leader Ilham Aliyev. This was reported by the press service of the Kremlin, reports RIA Novosti.
It is noted that in a telephone conversation, the presidents exchanged views on a number of topical issues on the bilateral and regional agenda. In particular, Putin and Aliyev discussed the development of the situation in connection with Russia's conduct of a special military operation in Ukraine.
Earlier it became known about the negotiations between the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko and his French counterpart Emmanuel Macron. No details of the conversation were given.
