The president of the aggressor state believes that sanctions against Russia harm those who impose them.

Russian President Vladimir Putin believes that attempts by Western countries to “bury” the economy of the aggressor state will be unsuccessful.

His statement at the press conference is quoted by RIA Novosti propagandists.

“They themselves will soon die, and they are burying us,” the master of the Kremlin self-confidently declared.

Commenting on plans to introduce new sanctions against Russia, Putin boastfully said that the more sanctions there are, “the worse it will be for those who introduce these sanctions.”

At the same time, the president of the aggressor state admitted that the rate of GDP growth in Russia this year will be “more modest,” but explained this by a targeted fight against inflation.

At the same time, he admitted that the cause of inflation was the significant expenditures of the Russian Federation on the war – 13.5 trillion rubles.

“This is not a small amount, we paid for it with inflation, but the country is fighting it,” he said.

However, even here the Kremlin master tried to find a “positive”, noting that Russia spends these trillions on supporting its military-industrial complex, “on ourselves, on our loved ones and relatives”.

“And what will they [NATO countries] spend their five percent on? On purchasing from the US and supporting their military-industrial complex. This is not our question, it is theirs. If they want to, let them do it,” Putin said.

In addition, the Russian president, coughing, assured that the aggressor state plans to reduce its “defense” spending, although there is still no final agreement on this between the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Finance, and the Ministry of Economic Development.

“But in general, everyone is thinking in this direction. And Europe is thinking about how to increase its defense spending,” Putin concluded.

Recall that European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen called the 18th sanctions package against Russia “harsh and painful”
