Vladimir Putin complained about the UK's decision to transfer proceeds from confiscated Russian assets to secure Ukraine.
Vladimir Putin called the West's actions with regard to Russian gold and foreign exchange reserves not even theft, but robbery.
He stated this at the Eurasian Economic Forum, propaganda media report.
As is known, the British government will provide Ukraine with 350 ASRAAM anti-aircraft missiles, financing them with 70 million pounds sterling received from interest on confiscated Russian assets.
Keir Starmer, speaking in The Hague, said it was Russia, not Ukraine, that should pay the price for Putin's “barbaric and illegal war”.
“Therefore, it would be right if we used the proceeds from confiscated Russian assets to provide Ukraine with the air defense it needs,” he stressed.
