During a meeting with Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, President of the aggressor country Vladimir Putin called NATO's eastward expansion “endless” and “very dangerous.”
This is reported by TASS.
According to Putin, the Russian Foreign Ministry should soon provide its views on US and NATO responses to Moscow's proposals for so-called “security guarantees.”
“We agreed (with Lavrov – Ed.) that the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs would present its views on the answers we received to our proposals sent to American colleagues in Washington and colleagues from the North Atlantic Alliance in Brussels on organizing issues related to security in Europe, and answers to our worries related to what we see as the endless and very dangerous eastward expansion of NATO,” Putin said.
