The operatives of the Military Department counterintelligence and Russia, together with the FSB, detained the deputy head of the Russian Guard, Lieutenant General Roman Gavrilov. He is accused of actually losing Russia's war against Ukraine.

Allegedly, he transmitted information about the movement of Russian troops on the territory of Ukraine, as a result of which more than 100 members of the National Guard were killed. In addition, because of his guilt, a number of measures to seize territories and strategic facilities of Ukraine failed.
Currently, the configuration in the power bloc in Moscow is changing dramatically. The publication reports that the head of the Russian Guard, Viktor Zolotov, is trying to get an appointment with Putin, but he has not yet received him and is studying some “folders” with intelligence.
It should be noted that before being appointed to the post in June 2021, the general Gavrilov headed the Main Directorate of Internal Security of the Russian Guard and was one of the special services officers closest to Viktor Zolotov. Previously, both served in the FSO and engaged in the personal protection of Dmitry Medvedev and Vladimir Putin.
