Chinese-American actor ridiculed "historical lectures" Putin.
After Volomir Putin’s interview with American journalist Tucker Carlson, where the Kremlin head called the “historical reasons” for the attack on Ukraine, the American-Chinese actor Robert Wu said that according to this logic Russia should give Beijing Vladivostok, which was occupied 100 years ago.
He wrote about this on page X, commenting on a post by a former employee of the Xinhua news agency, and now a specialist from the Center for China and Globalization (CCG) think tank, Zichen Wang.
In his post, Wang called “Putin's historical lectures 'unconstructive'.”
“The interview (Putin – ed.) once again confirms my bias: obsession with history is usually not constructive. Why should we refer to the 8th or 13th century, and not to 220 BC? We live in the present with laws, and not in the 8th century,” he noted.
The American-Chinese actor Robert Wu reacted to this message, who wrote: “According to history, Russia should give us back Vladivostok and the vast territory stolen 100-odd years ago.”
Recall that American ISW analysts assessed Putin’s interview with provocateur Tucker Carlson and named his goal.
