Georgian police beat two opposition representatives.
In Tbilisi at a protest against the law on “foreign agents,” security forces beat the head of the country’s largest opposition party, the United National Movement, Levan Khabeishvili, and the leader of the political association “Citizens,” Aleko Elisashvili.

Khabeishvili himself from the clinic distributed a video message on social networks in which he stated:
“Nothing hurts me. My eye will pass, my body will pass, everything will pass, the fight against the Putinists must continue,” the politician emphasized.
“They dragged me too, but when I saw Levan’s photo… It doesn’t matter what party I represent, you can’t treat a deputy like that, you can’t treat with him like with a dog,” said Aleko Elisashvili.
The Formula TV company reported that during the dispersal of a protest rally in the center of Tbilisi, American lawyer Ted Jonas was also beaten.
According to media reports, a US citizen experienced physical violence from security forces – the man’s teeth were knocked out and he had a broken nose.
Recall that on Wednesday night, Georgian special forces tried to violently disperse participants in a peaceful protest against the law on “foreign agents”.
