The government, installed by the organizers of the coup, has warned against calls for a riot in the media and social networks. The corresponding statement was made by the Ministry of Information.
On February 2, the military issued a ban on all air travel in the country until late spring. Prior to that, it became known about the dissolution of the government, as well as the arrest of Myanmar President Vin Myin and the head of the country's ruling National League for Democracy (NLD) party, Aung San Suu Kyi, who holds the post of state adviser and foreign minister.
The NLD said that the army had organized a coup d'état and demanded that all detainees be released immediately. In the capital of the country, Naypyidaw, telephone and internet connections are unavailable. The military has been spotted in large cities, residents are massively withdrawing money from bank cards and buying food.
