A video was published with the injured from the explosions near the administration of the Kazakh Aktobe
The protesters began to retreat from the administration of the Kazakh city of Aktobe and carry away the wounded after a series of explosions that thundered on the doorstep of the building. The video recording from the scene was published by the Telegram channel of the Readovka edition.
The footage shows how the demonstrators are dragging several people on the ground and calling for help from ambulances. Traces of blood are visible on the clothes of the victims, they are probably unconscious.
After those dissatisfied with the policy of the authorities fled from the akimat, an armored car of the security forces arrived in time. He tried to disperse the crowd with a jet from a water cannon, but the protesters went on the offensive and attacked the transport. The exact number of victims of the explosion is not yet known.
Protests in Kazakhstan began on Sunday, January 2, due to an increase in gas prices for cars from 60 to 120 tenge (from 10 to 20 rubles) per liter. Soon economic demands were replaced by political ones: the resignation of the government, the holding of new elections, the removal from power of people from the “clan” of former President Nursultan Nazarbayev.
The current head of state, Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, under pressure from protests, dismissed the Cabinet of Ministers, and also ordered to organize state regulation of prices for energy, fuel and food for a period of six months. At the same time, he introduced a state of emergency in several cities at once, including the capital of the republic, Nur-Sultan.
