Protective masks for sports and office created in Russia
In Russia, protective masks with filters that facilitate breathing have been created. This was reported by the press service of the platform of the National Technology Initiative, reports RT.
According to the developers, sensors for monitoring physical activity, body temperature and air quality are built into the masks, they can be used for sports and work in the office.
The mask, similar to a regular mask, uses a filter similar to a ventilator to provide adequate protection against viruses, bacteria, pollen, aerosols and dust. The mask is made of neoprene with silicone fillings, which allows it to not slip on the skin. You can wear the mask without changing the filter for up to 48 hours.
Earlier, the head of the department of the Research Institute of Epidemiology of Rospotrebnadzor, Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences Vadim Pokrovsky told when it would be possible to stop using masks in offices. This will be possible when all employees are vaccinated or get sick, the specialist said.
Before that, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation refused to cancel the mask regime in Russia. The lawsuit was filed collectively, and 1,500 people from various Russian regions signed it.
Face masks are becoming a fashion and luxury item in some countries. So, in Japan, handmade masks appeared at the price of a million yen, decorated with diamonds, rhinestones and Japanese pearls. It was also reported about a protective mask made of gold and diamonds, which is being created by Israeli jewelers. Its approximate cost is one and a half million dollars. The mask was ordered by a Chinese businessman living in the United States.
