Protected browser Brave has got its own search engine

by alex

Recently, the topic of privacy and confidentiality of personal data is gaining popularity on the Internet. Apple is adding functionality to its iOS, and the search engine DuckDuckGo is gaining traction. The latter, however, apparently has a serious competitor.

So, the developers of the secure browser Brave published a fresh announcement on their blog. In it, they talked about the launch of beta testing of their own search engine – Brave Search.

According to the creators, the new product does not track user actions, including those related to clicks and searches. This greatly distinguishes it from competitors like Google or Yandex.

At the same time, in the future, the developers intend to implement “a community-guided open ranking model to ensure diversity and prevent algorithmic errors.” This should also prevent censorship from occurring.

Anyone can use Brave Search both on computers and on mobile devices. To do this, just follow the link.
