Italian law enforcement agencies have seized property worth 124 million euros from the clan of the Calabrian mafia group Ndrangheta. This was reported by ANSA.

Among the confiscated assets are four companies, 67 buildings, 91 land plots, seven vehicles, shares of six companies, and 20 bank and insurance accounts.

It is reported that all the seized property was registered in the name of four entrepreneurs, who are accused of having links with the Pyromalli clan.

Earlier in the Italian city of Lamezia Terme in Calabria began the largest trial in the last 30 years over members of the “Ndrangheta”. 355 alleged mafiosi, as well as officials, businessmen and lawyers suspected of conspiring with them, were in the dock. During preliminary hearings, it took three hours to name the alleged perpetrators alone.
