Marcel Sabitzer causes discussions with his cancellation with the Austrian national team. Finally, Bayern posted a training video.
The Munich newcomer had canceled his participation in the away doubles of the ÖFB team in the World Cup qualification against Moldova (2: 0) and Israel (2: 5) with adductor problems, a play in Franco Foda's home game against Scotland initially left open.
The final cancellation from Munich took place on Saturday. Sabitzer still has adductor problems. This was also shown by a running unit on Säbener Strasse on Friday.
The surprise was all the greater when Bayern posted a training video for the 27-year-old on Monday. Sabitzer completed a unit in the performance center of the German serial champion. And there was hardly any sign of adductor problems.
“ORF” analyst Roman Mählich had already explained this via Twitter. “Sabitzer seems pretty fit to me,” said the TV expert.
“ORF” chief analyst Herbert Prohaska later underpinned the impression, who was also unable to detect any injury. “I don't like that at all,” said the former team boss in the direction of the Bayern newcomer. “I would have liked him to take such a test with the Austrian national team. And if it doesn't work, that he would go back to Bayern,” said Prohaska.
