Crimea will become the first region of Russia where they will begin to produce express tests that can detect an infection, including coronavirus, within three minutes, the press service of the Ministry of Information of the Republic of Crimea (RK) told Kommersant.
The new systems for express testing will be called “CrimeaTest”, the press service specified, an investment agreement of intent, guaranteeing the launch of “pilot” production in the region within the next month and a half, was concluded by the Council of Ministers of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the White Product company, which represents RF rapid tests of the Korean biodiagnostic research center SD Biosensor. According to the director of the company, Aleksey Altynbaev, the accuracy of these tests is approximately 98%. “The investor will invest about 0.5 billion rubles in the creation of production,” added Mr. Altynbaev.
