“This is very disappointing to us. We don't understand why they don't provide the necessary transparency,” he said.
Although inspectors have not detected the diversion of Iran's uranium stockpile into weapons, the production and storage of such large quantities of the material is a concern. In December, Iran tripled its rate of uranium enrichment, reversing measures implemented amid secret diplomacy with the US.
