Pro-Palestinian activists have broken into the British Royal Air Force base at Brize Norton on scooters, damaging British military aircraft.
This was reported by Channel 24 with reference to Sky News.
How activists broke into a British military base
Pro-Palestinian group Palestine Action posted a message on social media site X announcing that its activists had entered the UK's largest Royal Air Force base, home to approximately 5,800 troops, 300 civilian staff and 1,200 contractors.
A video shared by the group online shows a man approaching the plane on a scooter while music plays. The activist eventually sprayed red paint on two planes, damaging them.

In a statement, Palestine Action also noted that planes from the airbase fly daily to RAF Akrotiri in Cyprus.
The group also said that modified fire extinguishers were used to spray red paint on the turbine engines of the two Airbus Voyagers, and that further damage was inflicted using crowbars.
Red paint symbolizing Palestinian bloodshed was also splashed across the runway and a Palestinian flag was left at the scene, the statement said.
Both activists managed to avoid security and arrest.
How did the British government react to the vandalism?
British Prime Minister Keir Starmer wrote on social media that the act of vandalism committed at Brize Norton airbase was disgraceful.
“Our Armed Forces represent the best of Britain and risk their lives for us every day. It is our duty to support those who protect us,” the British Prime Minister wrote.
The UK Ministry of Defence also condemned the actions of the pro-Palestinian group, adding that it was working closely with police investigating the incident.
