Buckingham Palace reported that the husband of Queen Elizabeth II, the Duke of Edinburgh, had successfully “undergone the procedure” in connection with a previously identified cardiac problem.
The report says that 99-year-old Prince Philip will remain at the clinic for a few more days. He has already spent 16 days there.
The Duke of Edinburgh was initially hospitalized due to an infection. On March 1, he was transferred to St. Bartholomew's Hospital in London for a heart examination.
