FC Barcelona is slipping deeper and deeper into the crisis. A new low point was the 3-0 defeat at Portugal club Benfica Lisbon.
The Catalans again offered a hair-raising performance. The defense wobbled tremendously, and summer newcomer Luuk de Jong was clouded by storm and several top chances.
