The vaccination took place at the district clinic near the Blue House, the presidential residence in the center of Seoul. In addition to the country's leader and first lady, nine members of the government of the Republic of Korea were vaccinated against the coronavirus. The vaccination took place in preparation for Moon Jae-in for the G7 summit, which is to be held in the UK from 11 to 13 June.
On Sunday, March 21, during a meeting with reporters, Moon Jae In summit said that the safety and efficacy of the AstraZeneca vaccine has been confirmed “internationally.” He urged the people of the country not to doubt its safety and to get vaccinated, calling it “a way to protect the entire population.”
Earlier, British Prime Minister Boris Johnson was vaccinated with the AstraZeneca vaccine. The head of the British government said that during the vaccination he did not feel anything and urged the population of the United Kingdom to follow his example, since “the real risk is covid, and getting vaccinated now is a very good idea.”
