President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko considered that his Ukrainian counterpart Vladimir Zelensky was “inadequate”. The words of the Belarusian leader are quoted by TASS.
Lukashenko said he tried to contact Zelensky. Zelensky replied to the proposal to negotiate in Gomel: “Perhaps we will talk.”
Earlier, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky commented on the proposal to start negotiations with Russia on the territory of Belarus. According to Zelensky, negotiations in Minsk are impossible. “Warsaw, Bratislava, Budapest, Istanbul, Baku – we all offered this to the Russian side. And any other city suits us. In a country from whose territory missiles do not fly,” the Ukrainian leader said.
