Sony Pictures has postponed the premiere of Moribus, starring Jared Leto, for three months. This is reported by Deadline.
The blockbuster release of the Marvel Cinematic Universe is scheduled for April 1, 2022. The film was previously expected to be released on January 28th.
According to preliminary data, the reason for the postponement of the premiere is the huge success of another studio project – the superhero action movie Spider-Man: No Way Home. It became the highest grossing film of the past year.
The film “Moribus” directed by Daniel Espinosa is set in the Marvel Universe, and in the center of the plot is the biochemist suffering from a fatal blood disease, Dr. Michael Morbius. In an attempt to find a cure for a rare disease, the hero turns into a living vampire. The film also stars Michael Keaton, Matt Smith, Adria Arjona, Jared Harris and other actors.
