Scientists at Concordia University have developed a new method designed to detect cancer cells even before a tumor occurs.
It is based on a special chip for biopsy fluids, which in turn was created “with the help of magnetic substances”, coated with a binder. According to Planet Today, thanks to this, the chip will be able to both capture and retain biological markers of cancer.
It is reported that testing of the technique was carried out on cells that cause breast cancer. According to experts, in the future, such technologies will be able to successfully cope with the detection of other forms of cancer.
Also, the latest developments of this kind should improve the quality of treatment for people suffering from cancer. Including due to the timely diagnosis of the disease in people with a risk group.
