The Dutch prosecutor's office presented materials from social networks in court as evidence of the involvement of the 53rd brigade of the Russian Armed Forces (AF) from the Course in the crash of the Malaysian Boeing 777 over Donbas in 2014. RIA Novosti reports.

According to the agency, Dutch prosecutor Birgit van Roussel considered the posts on the Internet to be evidence of the guilt of the Russian side. So, he presented to the court a screenshot of a message from a forum for mothers, dated July 6, 2014. In the message, the woman writes that her son, an employee of the 53rd brigade, was sent to Rostov.

In addition, the prosecution showed during the hearing in the MH17 case a photo of the author's son with the emblem of the Kursk brigade. It is noted that he was taken from the alleged serviceman's page on VKontakte.

Earlier, prosecutor Manon Ridderbex said that the prosecution in the case of the crash of the Malaysian Boeing 777 over Donbas has two anonymous witnesses who saw the launch of a rocket on the liner on the day of the disaster. He insisted that flight MH17 had been shot down by a Buk anti-aircraft missile system from the direction of the village of Pervomayskoye.

The Boeing 777 of Malaysian Airlines, en route from Amsterdam to Kuala Lumpur, crashed on July 17, 2014 in the territory controlled by the authorities of the self-proclaimed DPR. There were 298 people on board, all of whom died. According to the prosecution, the airliner was a Buk air defense missile system in service with the 53rd anti-aircraft missile brigade stationed in the Kursk region.
