In a conversation with “Lenta.ru” he explained this by the fact that in this way the United States is trying to keep the declining influence in the world.
Markov believes that the most likely in 2022 is a military clash between Russia and the United States at the hands of the Ukrainian army.

He also allowed an Israeli and US strike on Iran, which will provoke a response, most likely with the help of terrorist methods.

Turkey and the United States are tied in this conflict, on the one hand, and Egypt, France, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Russia on the other. By and large, this is also a conflict over control over energy resources, ”explained Markov.
Probably, in his opinion, the continuation of the conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan, since a number of problems in Karabakh have not been resolved. There is also a permanent possibility of an outbreak of the Arab-Israeli conflict. Markov noted that next year it will not be higher than this year, but one should not forget about it either.
A clash between Venezuela and Colombia at the hands of the United States is also possible. In Syria, a conflict is also possible in some format – Turkey may need an external conflict to introduce an emergency inside the country.
