Aide to the President of Russia Yuri Ushakov said when the next talks between the leaders of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden, could take place. He noted that it is difficult to predict the next contacts at present, but they will be able to communicate in the near future, RIA Novosti reports.
“Of course, I don’t know exactly when, on what day the conversation will take place, and no one knows either. This will depend on the situation. Such a conversation will be required at the presidential level immediately after January 10 – it is quite possible that the presidents will agree to organize such a conversation. If not, then at some other time, “Ushakov said, adding that the heads of state agreed to maintain bilateral contacts on this issue.
Earlier, the first deputy head of the international committee of the Federation Council, Vladimir Dzhabarov, praised the second telephone conversation between the presidents of Russia and the United States, Vladimir Putin and Joe Biden. In his opinion, the parties could clarify their positions on the proposals on security guarantees.
