The first group of tourists can go to the International Space Station (ISS) on the Soyuz spacecraft on December 8, 2021. RIA Novosti reports on the possible date of dispatch with reference to the preliminary program of flights to the ISS for next year, which was developed by the Energia Rocket and Space Corporation.
It is noted that the stay at the station will last 12 days. On December 8, the Soyuz MS spacecraft with a Russian cosmonaut and two tourists will take off from Baikonur. On December 20, they will have to return to Earth.
In July, Space Adventures revealed that the space tourist's spacewalk will take place in 2023 and will last about 90-100 minutes. This corresponds to one orbit of the ISS around the Earth. Two tourists will go to the ISS on the Soyuz MS spacecraft. One of them, together with a professional Russian cosmonaut, will enter open space from the Russian segment of the ISS.
