According to its own statements, the construction company Porr has secured a strategic stake in the learning technology start-up QuickSpeech. With the company's “innovative software”, the transfer of employee knowledge and construction site management are to be further automated and optimized, as Porr announced.
“Individual learning is the key to project success and secure working conditions – as a pioneer in the field of training and further education, we see enormous potential for mobile learning solutions,” says Porr boss Karl-Heinz Strauss, referring to the QuickSpeech learning application.
With the smartphone app, the group wants to make employee training more efficient. Every construction project has specific requirements for the employees in order to guarantee optimal and safe work processes. The necessary learning content varied depending on the position and is also dependent on the individual prior knowledge of the employees. According to the information, the QuickSpeech solution enables individually adapted learning across all occupational profiles and hierarchy levels. First and foremost, it is about comprehensive product knowledge and occupational safety.
