The increase in the incidence of coronavirus is recorded in 36 Russian regions, said the head of Rospotrebnadzor Anna Popova.

“First of all, [the incidence rate] is growing in large metropolitan areas. 36 constituent entities [of Russia are] on the rise, “TASS quoted Popova as saying in an interview with the Russia-1 TV channel.

She noted that there is an increase in the incidence of both coronavirus and seasonal SARS.

According to her, people who have undergone coronavirus are at risk of getting seasonal ARVI.

Earlier, Popova said that in Russia there is no reason for the introduction of a lockdown due to an increase in the number of cases of coronavirus infection.
