Gareth Southgate has captured the hearts of English football fans. That's why a pop song has now been dedicated to the “Three Lions” team boss.

In the last few weeks you have heard the classic “Football's Coming Home” on the island again and again. England are reaching for their first title since 1966 at the European Championships. The motherland of football had to wait just as long for a final at a major tournament.

At the latest with the 2-1 semi-final success after extra time over Denmark, the 50-year-old has created a monument in England.

Therefore the British pop group “Atomic Kitten” released their song “Whole Again” with a text in honor of the English team boss. “Southgate, You're The One, Football's Coming Home,” is the motto of the 2001 song.

The repositioned text now reads: “Southgate, your're the one, you still turn me on. Football's coming home again.” Originally the text was: “Baby, you're the one, you still turn me on, you can make me whole again.” With the repositioned song, the pop trio has already performed at a public viewing in London.

However, the song is not new in English football stadiums. “Three Lions” fans had already repositioned the text of the chorus at the 2018 World Cup and sang it at England games. Now the song will find its way back into the charts. Especially when Southgate's team actually hits the jackpot on Sunday.
