MOSCOW, October 7. / TASS /. Every eighth Russian uses gadgets to control sleep, according to the results of a survey by Garmin and the online recruiting platform hh.ru, which is at the disposal of TASS.
“Every eighth Russian uses various gadgets to control sleep – smart watches, bracelets, smartphone applications,” the study said.
In two years, the share of users of such devices and applications has grown by 5 pp. Their popularity among men and women is the same – 13% each. Most often, they are used by workers in PR and marketing (29%), IT industry (19%), transport and logistics (19%), construction and real estate (15%), agriculture (14%), as well as lawyers ( 13%), students and accountants (11% each).
Such technologies are most in demand among residents of the Samara region (23%), Nizhny Novgorod, Voronezh and Novosibirsk regions (16% each), Petersburgers (14%), Muscovites (13%), residents of the Krasnodar Territory (12%), Moscow region (10%) and the Sverdlovsk region (10%).
According to the survey, 51% of respondents are satisfied with the result of using such gadgets, 37% are not satisfied. Among the main complaints are the high cost of devices, doubts about the accuracy of the data collected, an inconvenient interface, difficulties in developing the habit of regular sleep monitoring, the lack of a wide range and choice of gadgets in the settlement.
The survey involved 1,530 Russians from all federal districts, of whom 48% were men and 52% were women.
