In Poland, a criminal case was opened against a military man who crossed the border with Belarus without permission.
On Thursday, March 17, in In the capital of Belarus, law enforcement agencies received a message about the discovery of a hanged former Polish soldier Emil Chechka, who had deserted from his military unit and crossed the Belarusian border. His corpse was found at the place of residence in Minsk.

Polish soldier Emil Chechko fled to Belarus on December 16, 2021 and asked for political asylum.
