Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk underwent a planned medical procedure and will temporarily not perform his official duties.

About this in Sunday, November 10, Polish TV channel TVN24 reported, citing the government information center.

The Polish Prime Minister is expected to return to his duties on Wednesday, November 13.

The government information center did not specify what procedure the Prime Minister went through.

It is known that on the eve of November 9, Prime Minister Donald Tusk attended a party congress, at which a decision was made to organize primaries to elect one candidate from the Civic Coalition for the presidential elections in 2025. Warsaw Mayor Rafal Trzaskowski and Foreign Minister Radoslaw Sikorski will take part in the initial elections. Later on Saturday, Tusk spoke to reporters at a conference.

Recall that Polish Prime Minister Donald Tusk predicts that regardless of the outcome of the presidential elections in the United States, Poland and Europe will bear much greater responsibility for their own security in the coming months.
