The report states that the man who was arrested had a shotgun and a loaded pistol with additional ammunition in the car.
The man was arrested on suspicion of possessing a loaded firearm and a large-capacity magazine.
“This incident did not impact the safety of former President Trump or the event participants,” the statement said.
The police later released the men on $5,000 bail. His trial will take place on January 2, 2025.
