Traffic at the Doroguisk-Yagodyn crossing will be difficult for more than three months.
In the near future, traffic through the Doroguisk-Yagodyn crossing on the Polish-Ukrainian border will be significantly complicated. This is due to the repair of the road surface in the area of the border crossing on the territory of Poland.
RMF24 writes about this with reference to the Nadbużany branch of the Polish Border Guard.
The reconstruction of the border crossing is planned to be completed by November 14 of this year. Polish border guards warned that before this date, truck drivers should expect traffic complications and be prepared for long queues to enter Poland.
If possible, drivers are advised to use other crossing points on the Ukrainian-Polish border.
Repair work at the Dorohuisk-Yagodyn crossing will begin on Monday, August 5. But already on Friday, August 2, a queue of about 300 trucks in the direction of Ukraine had accumulated at the Dorohuysk checkpoint. The approximate waiting time in line to cross the border was 10-12 hours.
Recall that this year Ukraine will open new border checkpoints on the border with Hungary, Moldova, Romania and Poland. This will help reduce the load on the Ukrainian-Polish section of the border.
