Poland has started preparing for the third wave of coronavirus infection. This was stated by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, quoted by RIA Novosti.
“We are dealing today with a very dangerous phenomenon, with a second wave and (…), perhaps, we are threatened by a third wave,” he stressed. The Polish Prime Minister added that the country depends on whether a drug or a vaccine for COVID-19 is invented.
Morawiecki also spoke about the country's strategy: it is to build social and economic life in a certain way. Thus, Poland will have the opportunity to “study, work, live, not close the economy and at the same time cut the transmission of COVID-19.”
According to the latest data, only 192.5 thousand people infected with coronavirus have been identified in Poland. 3.7 thousand people died from the complications caused.
