Poland scrambles fighter jets during nighttime missile attack on Ukraine

Neighboring Poland on the morning of April 6 scrambled its own and allied aircraft due to a missile strike by the Russian Army on Ukraine.

“Tonight there is intense activity by Russian long-range aviation related to missile attacks on targets located on the territory of Ukraine. All necessary procedures have been started to ensure the safety of Polish airspace,” the message says.< /p>

In addition, the military warned that the plane could cause additional noise in the southeastern part of the country.

As reported, on the night of April 6th Russian Federation attacked with drones and missiles. The enemy launched 32 Shahed-type UAVs, as well as six missiles of different types.

Recall that on March 24 at 4:23, during a massive attack on Ukraine, a Russian missile flew into Polish territory. However, the Polish and allied F-16 fighters did not shoot down the target. The object entered the airspace near the city of Ocerdów (Lublin Voivodeship) and remained there for 39 seconds. F-16 fighters did not shoot down the Russian missile.
