Poland is ready to accept former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili for treatment. Warsaw intends to send such a proposal to Tbilisi.
This was stated by Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki, the Polish edition of Onet reported.
“Poland initiated, and I spoke with many prime ministers on this topic, suggestions to the Georgian government that Mikheil Saakashvili, the former president of Georgia, could be treated in Poland. We are afraid that in Georgia he may face the worst,” the Polish prime minister said.

Recall that in 2018 in Georgia, a court found Saakashvili guilty in absentia of “abuse of power” and sentenced him to three years in prison.
