Poland promised to help Ukraine to return Crimea

Warsaw is going to help Kiev restore control over the Crimea and Donbas. With such a promise made by the President of Poland Andrzej Duda during the inauguration, RIA Novosti reported.

“This is an important task, which is to restore and complete sovereignty, and territorial integrity of our neighbor — Ukraine”, — said the Polish leader, commenting on the desire to help “to return the Peninsula”. In addition, Duda said he intends to defend the interests of Ukraine in the OSCE in 2022 Poland will preside in the organization.

On 12 July it became known that the acting President of Poland, Andrzej Duda won the second round of the presidential election. Elections in the country decided to hold the mail because of the pandemic coronavirus.

Crimea became part of Russia in March 2014 after the referendum in which the majority of respondents supported this decision.
