In Poland, now – on the fourth wave of the pandemic – there is a peak in COVID-19 infection. However, in recent days there has been a decrease in the number of infections.

The government is also considering the option of compulsory vaccination against coronavirus for medical personnel. Among doctors, the percentage of vaccinated is very high, between nurses and other groups of doctors often does not exceed 80%.

In general, approximately 60% of the Polish population is fully vaccinated.

According to the Ministry of Health countries among those who died from COVID-19, only 6.7% were vaccinated with two doses. The ministry argues that all deaths are not directly related to vaccination.

Recall that in some European countries have already begun to vaccinate children. For example, in Israel, on November 23, the vaccination against COVID-19 of children 5-11 years old started.
