The Polish authorities decided to first create a perimeter system for electronic border protection, and then build a real wall with the Russian Federation.
Poland intends to build a wall with Russia, including the Kaliningrad region, in the near future.
Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki stated this, Radio Olsztyn reports.
“We announced that we are starting first build a perimeter system for electronic border protection. Then we will create an appropriate physical barrier in individual sections, and ultimately along the entire length of the border with the Königsberg region – the former Kaliningrad region,” he said.
It should be noted that Poland began construction back in April. The system will consist of more than 3 thousand cameras and 200 kilometers of detection cables, which were installed approximately 199 km from the Surveillance Center at the headquarters of the Warmian-Masurian Border Office in Kętrzyn.
We would like to remind you that the Polish authorities from September 17 Following the EU countries, they will ban the entry into their territory of passenger cars registered in Russia.
