The Polish government wants to introduce compulsory vaccinations for healthcare workers.

Poland plans to introduce compulsory vaccination against coronavirus infection for healthcare workers dated March 1, 2022.

This is reported by the RMF24 edition with reference to the order of the Polish Ministry of Health.

In the document noted that healthcare workers, pharmacists and medical students by March 1 must complete a full course of vaccination against coronavirus. Those who have already been vaccinated should receive a booster dose. As the ministry explains this decision, during an epidemic, the use of such measures is justified in relation to these groups, since they are in direct contact with sick patients, which endangers them.

Minister of Health Adam Nedzelski stressed that he is against unvaccinated doctors working with patients with coronavirus.

As previously reported, on New Year's and Christmas holidays in Ukraine due to the coronavirus, in particular, the Omicron strain , the quarantine will not be enforced. Current restrictions will apply.
