Poland has deployed nine refugee reception points near the Ukrainian border.

It is reported by “Polish Radio”

Reception points operate in the cities of Dorogusk, Dolgobychev, Zosin and Grebenny in the Lublin region and near Korchov, Medika, Budomerzh and Krossenko in the Subcarpathian region.

The ninth point will be opened at the railway station in Przemysl. According to the Podkarpackie voivode Eva Leniart, these are the first supply points. There you can get information, food, medical care and relax. After that, refugees can go to places of stay in Poland, determined independently or by voivodes.

Leniart notes that a person who crosses the border must report that he is running away from the war and needs international protection. After that, he is sent to the reception point and provided with transport.

In turn, the Lublin voivode Lech Spravka announced the opening of reception centers that provide assistance to victims of hostilities in Ukraine. According to him, the voivodship has a corresponding accommodation base in the region, where the refugees will be sent.

As reported, Poland expressed its readiness to host migrants from Ukraine, as well as the wounded for treatment in medical institutions. In addition, the neighboring country is preparing a medical train to transport the wounded as a result of military operations in Ukraine. Beds are being prepared in 120 Polish medical institutions.
