At the next meeting of the European Council, deputies from Poland are going to raise the issue of creating a pan-European plan for the restoration of Ukraine.
This is stated in a statement by Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki dated March 19.

According to the politician, today “fear reigns in Ukraine, but it is combined with the courage of the fighting servicemen and the hope of the whole people, the whole society for the restoration of a sovereign state after the war”.
– This hope must be based on a real foundation, and this real foundation is the Marshall Plan No. 2 for Ukraine, – the Polish prime minister claims.
He called for this plan, first of all, representatives of the richest countries.
This is due to the fact that, according to Morawiecki, they “overslept the moment when it was possible to stop Russian aggression”.
– Because of this, they are responsible on the part of Europe to build a pla n restoration of Ukraine. Poland is also helping in this matter,” the Prime Minister of Poland stated.
Advisor to the head of the Office of the President Mikhail Podolyak has already commented on this initiative.
– Marshall Plan 2.0. This is the moral responsibility of those who do not want to stand by when Russian missiles hit our cities. The destruction of civilian infrastructure is the war of the Russian Federation against Ukraine. Mr. Morawiecki is impeccable in his initiative to help Ukraine recover. Poland is a true friend of Ukraine,” Podolyak wrote on Twitter.
