Polish Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki confirmed that Poland and Hungary parted ways due to scandalous statements by the head of the Hungarian government Viktor Orban.
In particular, the Prime Minister of Poland was asked to comment on the words of Orban, who said that the goals of both states are the same, but while the Hungarians view this conflict as a war of two Slavic peoples, the Poles< strong>“feel that they are also fighting in it”.
This is reported by the Polish edition Dziennik Gazeta Prawna.
“I confirm the words of the Prime Minister Orban that the paths of Poland and Hungary have diverged.Poland is not participating in the war in Ukraine. The Ukrainians are waging the war,” Morawiecki replied.
The Polish Prime Minister shouted that Poland would continue to help Ukraine fight against Russia, which cynically attacked and brutally kills the citizens of Ukraine.
“We want Ukraine to survive and preserve its territorial integrity, its sovereignty,” he stressed. “I believe that this will happen,” the head of the Polish government said.
Recall that earlier, Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban accused the West of Putin's attack on Ukraine. He said that the war in Ukraine could have been avoided if not for the West, which did not make concessions to Putin.
