Game titles available with the release of PlayStation 5 have risen in price. The cost of the releases is reported in the material on the Sony website.

At the start of sales of the next-generation console, gamers will have access to some of the games presented at the event on September 16. In particular, Japan Studio's 3D platformer Astro's Playroom will be preinstalled on the console for free, the rest of the releases will be available to the user after purchase. Specifically, Demon's Souls and Destruction All Stars will cost $ 70 in the US and € 80 in Europe. The standard version of Spider-Man: Miles Morales will be priced at 60 euros, the extended version at 80 euros.

In Russia, games have also become more expensive. So, Demon's Souls and Destruction AllStars will cost 5,499 rubles, the standard edition of Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales – 4,299 rubles, and the extended edition – 5,499 rubles.

Previously, the cost of games for PlayStation consoles was limited to $ 60 in the US (excluding taxes) and 70 euros in Europe. Russian prices for new titles are not disclosed, but, most likely, games released for Russia will also rise in price.

The announcement of the games available at the launch of the PlayStation 5 took place at the event on September 16. In particular, during the presentation, Final Fantasy XVI, a game based on the Harry Potter universe Hogwarts Legacy, a new part of Call of Duty, God of War: Ragnarok, Spider-Man: Miles Morales and other games were presented.

Information that PS5 games will be more expensive appeared in the summer. The head of IDG Consulting agency Yoshio Osaki said that the rise in prices for games is inevitable and associated with increased costs of content production. At the same time, prices for game titles have remained at the same level and have practically not changed since 2005.
