In November 2021, Sony will be celebrating the first anniversary of the PlayStation 5. Whether to celebrate or just to please fans, the company is adding a long-awaited new feature to the console – Variable Image Refresh Rate (VRR).
Value Electronics CEO Robert Zon said the event will be preceded by an HDMI update. Only after it will the Japanese corporation be ready to implement VRR in the PlayStation 5, writes PlayStation Universe.
At the same time, interestingly, in game consoles from competitors from Microsoft – Xbox Series X and S – a similar solution has already been implemented and successfully launched.
Recall that earlier information appeared on the network about the appearance of a new revision of the digital version of the PlayStation 5 under the number CFI-1100B0. It was supposed to be released in July 2021, but so far there is no information about its retail deliveries.
