Russian stores have begun to remove references to the new generation of Sony from their websites. In particular, the PS5 page has disappeared from the M.Video website.
If you follow the direct link to the PlayStation 5 in the store, the site will display the error “No results were found for your request.” Moreover, the M.Video website has a promo page with a console, which indicates that all the goods have been sold out. It also says that the delivery of the set-top box begins on December 20, but the date of receipt of the new batch of devices is unknown. “We are trying our best to ensure that customers receive the console in December as early as possible, but shipping dates may be pushed back to a later date,” – stated on the PS5 page.
At the same time, on the Eldorado website, which together with M.Video belongs to the same group, separate pages are available for the classic PlayStation 5 model and the version without a floppy drive. However, consoles cannot be purchased. The page dedicated to PS5 also disappeared from the site of the 1C-Interest store.
On December 24, M.Video announced in its community on VKontakte that the new generation consoles from Sony will be available for purchase by the end of the year. The company noted that both the classic PS5 model with a floppy drive and the digital version (Digital Edition) will be available. Representatives of M.Video recommended to wait for the appearance of consoles on sale and not to purchase PS5 from dealers.
Sony PlayStation 5 went on sale November 19. The basic version of the console was priced at 46,999 rubles, the model without a floppy drive at 37,999 rubles. Early buyers could purchase a Sony set-top box through pre-order.
