Player collapses – ice hockey game canceled

The ice hockey game between Dornbirn and Bratislava in the ICE Hockey League was canceled on Friday evening after an incident.

Towards the end of the first period a player from the visiting team went down without any outside influence. Paramedics rushed over to take care of the player. The ice hockey crack had to be brought off the ice with a stretcher.

Nothing is currently known about the health of the player.

In the third break that followed shortly afterwards, it was decided to abandon the game. Dornbirn had led 1-0 at this point.
