On Wednesday, February 9, a plane with military-technical assistance from Britain landed at Boryspil airport. Defense Minister Alexei Reznikov spoke about this.
He clarified that on board the aircraft are military supplies and equipment intended for the territorial defense forces.
“On February 8 and 9, a cargo with military-technical assistance from the UK arrived in Ukraine – military cargo and equipment for the territorial defense forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine: bulletproof vests, helmets and more,” the minister said in a message posted on Twitter.
Reznikov thanked the partners for military assistance, as well as diplomatic and political support.
Before that, Ukrainian Ambassador to Britain Vadym Prystaiko said that Britain would transfer missile weapons for ships to Ukraine.
