German expert Stefan Weber analyzed the books of three candidates for the post of German Chancellor and found borrowings in them without reference to the original source. This was reported by the Bild newspaper.
According to Weber, the largest number of borrowings was in the book of the Green Party candidate Anna Berbock, written in 2021. The expert called her work a “bottomless barrel” of the copied text. He claims to have stopped counting borrowings after 100 borrowed passages.
